Either this season of Peter Grill was even worse than the first season, or I've just been spoiled by much better ecchi shows like Isekai Meikyuu lately, because somehow every episode of this felt like a drag to watch, even with the fanservice and a runtime of 12 minutes including the OP and ED...

Like it was EVER any good. No, this was worse.

Not only was it a drag, we spent WAY too much time in certain spots, namely the arc around Vegan and her sister. It just made me despise the sisters. And did we REALLY need to make the blacksmith's daughter part of the harem?

The fanservice objectively isn't as good this time around. Heck, I wouldn't give Isekai Meikyuu TOO MUCH credit, considering Passione also released Interspecies Reviewers. Honestly, the only fanservice worth a darn this year was ironically Dress Up Darling.

And I wouldn't give S1 of Peter Grill too much credit either. It aired during the Summer 2020 season and for fanservice at the time, we had Twitter losing their marbles over Uzaki's boobs and the fanservice centered around Tamaki in Fire Force S2, and we had that hentai Power Rangers anime, Dokyuu Hentai HXEROS.

The Guild one was also good lets not forget that.

Okusama ga Seitokaichou! (My Wife is the Student Council President!) S1+ S2, Nobunaga-sensei no Osanazuma (Nobunaga Teacher's Young Bride), and Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes (Holmes of Kyoto), and many more. (If want the names of the H's just go to MAL for it.)

Wolfsbane is just known for very few which is Peter Grill anime & Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita
(Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside) Also produced the Battle Athletes remake.

And what's good about this season:
~We get more girls.
~At least several arcs introduced (I think).
~We get cosplayers at the ending for the next ep.
~More funny NTR'ing
~Funny PP puns and such.
~More f-a-p service (OP + ED included)
And what's bad about this season:
~More sloppy animation.
~The puns are too cringeful.
~No development at all.
~This is just comedy echhi anime just to make assembly line to please people.
~1 Dimensional characterization.
~Too shallow to enjoy.
~Uncensored portion is not as good as S1.
(Also the Uncensorewd portions was all over the place which was ether done on purpose or just sloppy work cause of budget cutbacks.)

Personal thoughts:
This was bad from the get go which looks like a complete rush job, also just a drag, and Futoku no Guild is the best uncensored echhi anime of this seasonal line up and in fact there is post to be at least 6 uncensored anime this season.
Like Noah Winns-Cromer mention and I agree. These two characters is the best of the show has to offer "Gobuko & Piglette" (Which are the best girls.)

If the BD/dvd's come out I'll check out see about the uncensored difference but that will be just it.
This series is forgettable and obviously it is proven with lack of commenters here (aside being the censored version ofc).

Even though I put this a poor rating it's still in my average list of this seasonal anime cause it was not the worst for me since it's somewhat enjoyable since I got a good laugh out of it.

It was short so that made it sorta watchable, the uncensored version was just bogus and fake

Aside that this season was rather meh.

Though for my list of sequels, this show's on the bottom of the list. The ONLY reason one might like this show is if you're either A: a fan of N*R, B: a weirdo who NEEDS to monitored, never left alone for more than 5 minutes, or C: a complete scumbag.

Like Judgement said, this was a drag. This season made me despise the characters more than last time. The reasons WHY the girls want Peter's seed isn't so bad but HOW they go about it, including blackmailing Peter, isn't.
Vegan and her selfish reasons really irked me, as did her sister. Lisa and Mimi are the same as last time. Peter's still the same scumbag. Strongest man gets wrecked by boobs and cries when he bangs the main female cast. "Oh, woe is me! I'm in love with Luvellia, even though I wouldn't be in this situation had I said no!" Though if that happened, no show. What an egotist who cares about his pride and appearance.
Piglette's the only one who has a reason, though slightly less screwed than the others, so she's OK. And Gobuko's a sweetie who just wants to be with Peter after being separated.

Only put this on the average list was cause of the comedy.
Plus my taste is just average and not refine which I do admit. I do tend to watch just about everything and just anything anime. Movies though are a different thing tho.

Cause of the comedy was the only positive side to this thus enjoyable.

I love how Seven, a hentai studio, managed to drop the ball on this one. I mean, HOW do you mess that up? Then again, not surprised given their track record AND having ruined Kings Game back in 2017. As for the others, Kinsou no Vermeil is just Maaya Uchida voicing a big titty demon. We REALLY should've put Passione on a higher standard after IR dropped almost 3 years ago.....

And World's End Harem is the worst of all. 3 month delay to be "closely examined", yet when it DID drop we got lackluster fanservice, static images, and hentai scenes from 20 years ago looking far better than what WEH offered. The fact people aren't mad about that yet lost their marbles over Marin in a swimsuit is just stupid at its worst and hypocritical at its best.

I could careless on WEH to begin with, it's was just plot twist harem echhi crap anyways, I didn't bother seeing the uncensored BD ether (let alone don't have the time), but yeah. Yep. They screwed the pooch on this one cause there was 2 years to prepare for this and this get any better, I only got good lols out of it from the comedy and the puns (even tho they are cringe worthy), BTW do checkout Lupin Zero if you can cause it's fanservice done better and uncensored as well. (OG Lupin series were uncensored to begin with, it was tone down in later parts) Part 5 had uncensored in the OP when it first aired.)

I think it's WORTH caring about WEH. It's a bit more than just a "plot twist harem ecchi crap" anime.

Show got delayed for 3 months because it needed to be "closely examined" and when it did drop we got the worst of the worst of fanservice. Static images, laughably bad censoring, hentai scenes from 20 years ago looking far better than what WEH has offered.
And to get the best possible experience, you have to buy the BD which has the private areas and goodies. Which is no different than a borderline hentai ecchi anime. But no, let's lose our marbles on a gyaru in a swimsuit rather than WEH setting back I Can't Believe It's NOT Hentai anme.
Says a lot about WEH and ecchi anime as a whole when Cloverworks can put out better fanservice in the form of Marin.

Wolfsbane collabed with Studio Flad to release Banished Hero back in late 2021. Seven is a hentai studio behind King's Game, My Wife is the Student Council President, Joshikausei, and hentai such as Omiai Aite, Baku Ane, Rance 01, Souryo to Majiwaru, and more!

I'm gonna be frank. I never did like Peter Grill. Aside from being yet ANOTHER generic borderline hentai ecchi anime that might as well have been an ACTUAL hentai, one of the main issues both seasons has is that it caters to fans of N*R. And I never liked the characters. Peter's a scumbag who cheats on Luvellia then cries when he bangs the other girls. Gobuko and Piglette are the only two girls I actually like. The girls only exist to get screwed by Peter, and also, the puns and jokes on his....gooey stuff. Cringe.

And the fanservice isn't as good as opposed to last season. Though it's not saying much, considering S1 aired during the Summer 2020 season, and the only other fanservice at the time was Dokyuu Hentai XEROS, a hentai Power Rangers anime, Uzaki's boobs, and Tamaki in Fire Force S2.
Overall, this has been a lackluster experience.

The anime has always been massively rushed compared to the manga, I have to say, so I would recommend reading that if you want the actual full and careful Peter Grill experience. This season changed things even more than the first one, even the order of some arcs, so yeah XP

As for another season, the manga is still ongoing and there is at least one whole arc and a mini-arc more beyond where they ended things here for now, it's in the middle of another big one right now.

If you do, do it from the beginning, because as fun as the first season was it also changed the order of minor things a bit and also removed a lot of foreshadowing or details. This series actually had a weird luck with its adaptation...you see, the manga is monthly-sized, so each chapter is LONG, much more than your usual popular Shonen weekly manga...but the anime got a mini-episodes format despite that, and each one usually compresses a few chapters, so the anime is adapting several montly-sized manga chapters into one episode that lasts half as much a normal anime episode would, making it into a bit mess, if still funny to some degree XP

I've always thought that the reason why the episodes were short because there wasn't much source material to work with. Thats what I was hearing when I first watched it.

If that was the case every episode should've been 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes.

LOL, yeah, if anything is actually quite the opposite XD While not a super-long series, PG's manga chapters are indeed semi-long, hell, the anime has cut off A LOT to adapt them into 10 minute episodes, and while the series is no masterpiece to begin with, it certainly loses a lot with such adaptation sadly.

I really hate it when certain anime don't adapt anything properly from the manga look at cloverworks done for example.

Mind you, 'perfect' anime adaptations don't exist or are SUPER rare, but it's always disappointing when they purposefully are done badly just to cut corners, especially with manga, because manga WAS almost perfectly made to be enhanced by anime. When it's adaptation of Light Novels is kinda understandable, adapting books to anime will always mean a lot of nuance is lost, but for the ones whose source material is a manga there is just no excuse. Peter Grill is not a masterpiece, certainly, but for its extremely unique and odd concept as an adult comedy it's supririsingly well made, so it's kinda sad seeing the anime actually making it worse. I'm still quite mad they removed the whole mini-arc of Peter "being attacked by an Enemy Stand" this season, that was a fucking gut-bust in the manga...
